Hi, I’m Nicole!
My work is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and the belief that your body already holds wisdom. Yoga is an alive experience that has been the back bone to my healing and growth. I’ve experienced and witnessed in others the art, healing and science of this beautiful practice.
My trainings are based in the Krishnamacharya lineage, the grandfather of Yoga Therapy. I have over ten years of experience teaching as a 500 hour Yoga Instructor with trainings from Valerie Baltzer, North Carolina, and mentorship with Stacey Reyonlds, Arkansas. I continued my studies with JJ Gormley in a 900 hour Certified Yoga Therapy program in Virginia.
Yoga is more than a pose.
My path into Yoga Therapy began in 2014, though my search for healing started much earlier. Writing and poetry first offered space for reflection and emotional processing, while yoga created a deeper connection to my body. In 2017, after becoming a mother and navigating postpartum depression, I turned to Yoga Therapy as a vital source of support. Working with my own Yoga Therapist in 2018 shaped the way I now hold space for others—meeting anxiety, depression, and fear with compassion, patience, and practical tools.
“Even at 77 years old, I can increase my agency over my physical and emotional health. Nicole’s affirmations have motivated me to engage in my practice with energy and enthusiasm.”
